- SW Differential SuiteCombines three ways to detect a short-term change in price pressure: Differential, Reverse Differential and Anti-Differential. The first two compare successive closes and their range position including the previous close; the third looks for a particular five-close sequence.
- SW Trend FactorDraws up to six price levels from one manually selected point using successive adjustment factors. Direction can follow the point’s proximity to the bar high or low, or be selected explicitly. A separate rule controls the first level’s starting price.
- SW Line ProfessionalConnects two selected support or resistance anchors and checks later crossings under the chosen rules. A valid falling line needs two highs; a rising line needs two lows. Anchors on one bar or with the wrong direction do not create a working line.
- Student Wyckoff TrendCombines bar colours based on four directional conditions with a lower reading from −6 to +6 based on six price-position conditions. Circles, triangles and Up/Dwn labels describe different events and can therefore appear independently.
Larry Williams
Market structure, strength, sentiment and comparative valuation.
- LW StructureIdentifies short-, intermediate- and long-term highs and lows from the sequence of price bars. It also distinguishes developing points and structural reversal conditions, with an optional higher-period direction filter.
- Williams Vix FixCompares the current low with the highest close over a selected number of bars. The line in a lower field measures how far price has fallen below that recent reference. It is a price-based reading, not an exchange volatility index.
- PAUNCHMeasures the strength of directional movement using upward and downward changes relative to bar ranges. Its smoothed line occupies a separate lower field and helps distinguish stronger movement from less pronounced conditions.
- Williams SentimentShows where bars close on average inside their full price range, including the previous close. Higher readings correspond to closes nearer the top of that range; lower readings correspond to closes nearer its bottom.
- WillValCompares the selected instrument’s price with another instrument. The difference between short and long averages of their price spread is normalised to its own historical 0–100 scale. It compares prices rather than estimating a company’s fair value.
- L.W COT for StockBuilds a price-based proxy for participant pressure from bar openings, closes and ranges. A close below the open pulls the reading upward; a close above the open pulls it downward. Averaging produces a line around midpoint 50.
Student Wyckoff
Relative strength and measurements of manually selected waves.
- Student Wyckoff Trend RSApplies directional conditions to the ratio between two instruments and presents a compact coloured ribbon in a separate field. An instrument can strengthen against another even while both markets are falling; the ratio isolates that relationship.
- Student Wyckoff WaveMeasures waves between points you place on the chart. Each pair of adjacent points can show price change, total volume and elapsed time; the tool can also compare the largest and smallest waves in each direction.
W.D. Gann
Calendar labels at your selected chart points.
Classic tools
Rate of change, averages and bands around an average.
- ROCMeasures the percentage difference between the current close and the close a selected number of bars earlier. It is drawn only in a separate lower field: positive values mean a gain over that interval, negative values a decline.
- SMADraws the arithmetic average of recent closes on the price chart. Every close inside the selected window has equal weight; the oldest leaves the calculation as a new close enters.
- EMADraws a smoothed closing-price average that gives more weight to recent values. At the same period it generally responds faster to a new price change than a simple average, while also reacting to short fluctuations.
- Bollinger BandsDraws a simple closing-price average and two bands around it. The distance to each band depends on recent price dispersion: larger variation widens the bands; smaller variation narrows them.
