What it shows

Builds a price-based proxy for participant pressure from bar openings, closes and ranges. A close below the open pulls the reading upward; a close above the open pulls it downward. Averaging produces a line around midpoint 50.

Chart example

The drawing shows a focused historical example calculated with platform data. It explains the readings and does not measure overall performance.

How to read it

This is an approximation calculated from stock prices: it does not load COT reports or show actual operator positions. Compare extremes and returns toward the midpoint with price behaviour. Read its direction according to this formula; a high value must not automatically be read as a rising market.

Available controls

Period 13, levels 30/70 and midpoint 50, colour, line width, height and scale.
