What it shows
Measures the percentage difference between the current close and the close a selected number of bars earlier. It is drawn only in a separate lower field: positive values mean a gain over that interval, negative values a decline.
Chart example
How to read it
Zero separates positive and negative change. The additional reference defaults to −15 and helps compare deep declines over the same horizon. ROC describes a chosen interval’s rate of change, so a level crossing alone proves neither reversal nor continuation.
Available controls
Default period 13, additional level −15, colour, line width, lower-field height and scale.
