What it shows
Shows where bars close on average inside their full price range, including the previous close. Higher readings correspond to closes nearer the top of that range; lower readings correspond to closes nearer its bottom.
Chart example
How to read it
Watch the line’s direction, its relationship to the midpoint 50 and zones 35/65. Sustained upper readings describe stronger closes, while sustained lower readings describe weaker closes. Assess departures from extreme zones alongside price; an extreme does not mean a move has already ended.
Available controls
Period 14, lower and upper levels, colour, line width, lower-field height and scale.
