What it shows
Compares the current low with the highest close over a selected number of bars. The line in a lower field measures how far price has fallen below that recent reference. It is a price-based reading, not an exchange volatility index.

How to read it
Rising values and spikes mean the gap has widened. Compare them with pauses in a decline, subsequent recovery and similar historical episodes. Crossing a level does not establish a reversal: readings can stay high while price continues to fall.
Available controls
Period 22 by default, reference level 30, colour, line width, field height and scale.
