Read the loading state first
Wait for the current attempt to finish. Some controls are temporarily unavailable while loading. An error message and missing old annotations are not a new indicator reading.
After a failure, the program clears previous charts and calculations so they cannot be attributed to a different instrument or timeframe. A calculation-unavailable message means no result is available for those settings; it does not mean a numerical value of zero.
Check what you requested
Check the exact ticker, daily, weekly or monthly timeframe and selected history length. The failure message identifies the requested instrument and timeframe. Do not rely only on what was loaded previously.
With two charts, check both requests. One request can cause the overall loading attempt to fail. A familiar symbol in one input field does not confirm that the whole load succeeded.
Check the normal connection and access
If the message concerns the connection, check that the required Windows application is running and connected as described in the first-chart guide. Then return to the intended browser request.
If it concerns sign-in or current access, restore normal access through your account. Changing the timeframe or drawings will not solve an access issue. Contact the support listed on the site if needed, keeping the exact message.
Do not substitute invented prices for a history error
A missing or invalid OHLC message concerns opening, high, low and closing prices. The data snapshot can be rejected to avoid calculations on inconsistent data. That is different from a load merely taking time.
A separate case is a successful data load with too little history for a particular indicator. Part of its line may be absent or its pane empty. First distinguish data-loading success from the availability of that calculation: they are separate checks.
Make one informed retry
Correct an identified cause, such as a ticker typo or unsuitable request settings. For comparison, you can restore an exact request that previously worked for you. Choose Load and wait for completion.
Avoid changing several conditions together or repeating an identical failure without new information. If the problem persists, record both symbols in comparison mode, timeframe, history length and the full error text. This is more useful to support than simply reporting a blank screen.
Confirm the result before saving
After a successful load, check the symbol, timeframe and history message. In comparison mode, inspect each chart. Only then treat the visible prices and annotations as the result of the new request.
If you changed the workspace, save it after this check. A workspace stores analysis settings; saving those settings does not by itself prove that their history loaded successfully. Continue from a confirmed result rather than the previous picture.
Primary sources
Sources explain the mechanics and limitations; the editorial examples use invented numbers rather than market quotations.
Your next practical step
Open the first-chart guide, check the connection and make one request with clear settings. Once loading finishes, verify the instrument and timeframe.
