Choose the chart to configure
Check the loaded instrument and timeframe. With two charts, click the intended one or choose it in Chart settings. Lower indicators belong to the selected chart.
Expand Oscillators to select the separate panes. The current set allows up to five such panes. If the limit is reached, hide an unneeded one first.
Enable each version separately
Enable SW Extreme Balance I, then SW Extreme Balance II. Check for two panes with the corresponding headings. Enabling one version does not enable the other.
If a pane is missing, inspect the limit message and checkbox state. Also confirm the selected chart and successful data load. A menu section’s name alone does not establish that an individual indicator is displayed.
Apply a clear set of settings
For the exercise, set period 8 and levels 40/60 for both versions and apply each set. An indicator’s calculation-period field is different from the price chart’s Day or Week timeframe.
Wait for loading after changing calculation settings. The lower level must be below the upper one. If an error appears, correct it before treating the settings as applied. Matching parameter fields do not turn the two versions into the same calculation.
Distinguish the menu from its panes
Collapsing Oscillators only frees menu space; displayed panes remain. A pane’s close button disables that individual indicator. Its checkbox enables it again.
Use a pane’s height control or border to resize it. This changes display space, not the calculation period. Check dates and readouts in each pane. Investigate unavailable-calculation messages through the history rather than substituting zeros for missing values.
Save and check both panes again
Save the workspace and wait for confirmation. After reopening, check the instrument, chart timeframe, enabled I and II and each version’s settings.
Use the help link for the explanation of version differences. This exercise checks the two-pane workflow: chart target, correct names, applied parameters and saved state.

Sources explain the mechanics and limitations; the editorial examples use invented numbers rather than market quotations.
Your next practical step
Enable both versions on a loaded chart, verify pane headings and applied settings, then save the workspace.
